Okay so in order to get started on modding your wii, here's what you'll need:

Nooks Cranny Homebrew Pack:

Letterbomb (If you're on a Wii):

An exploitable game (can also work if you're on Wii U): Super Smash Bros Brawl, Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Lego Star Wars: The Complete SagaYu-Gi-Oh 5D's Wheelie Breakers, or Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

Let's go through the steps for the Wii/Wii U!

WII letterbomb method:

Step 1: Get your Wii's MAC Address

Go into your internet settings as shown in the screenshots and take note of your Wii's MAC Address. We will need it later.

Step 2: Generate the File

Go to the LetterBomb Website and enter the MAC Adress you wrote down, make sure to click the check mark that says bundle bootmii, and then cut either wire (it doesn't change anything no matter which wire you cut) and download your file.

Step 3: Prepare your SD Card

Download the Nooks Cranny Homebrew Pack and extract it, as well as the to your SD Card and then put it into your Wii. (the SD card can be SD or SDHC, you could also check here if your sd card is compatible)

Step 4: Open the LetterBomb

Go to the Wii Message Board and select the envelope that has a bomb in it to open it. Once open it should show a few screens. Just select all the settings shown in the screenshots and advance the screens and after that last one you should have the homebrew channel installed!

Well, sorry buddy, we're not going to be covering the exclusive Wii U method because we can't exactly remember the method (Wuphax) itself. But later, we will get back on it. But there are the regular game exploit methods that work on Wii U as well, which you can find here, or if you want to try Wuphax you can just click on the name and it will lead you to a youtube video! Get back to us if you can tell us all the steps, it would be greatly appreciated.

So anyways, now that you installed the pack, let's get into what is actually inside the damn thing.
